About a week ago I put in to get tickets to the Late Show with David Letterman for the Monday while I am visiting NY. When I filled out the request form I had to put a guest's name, so I added Greg.
Just now I got a phone call from the show and I had to answer a trivia question in order to win the tickets.
"Allen Coulter is the announcer for the Late Show, what color is his hair?"
RED!!
So then I had to call Greg to see if he really was available to see the show (I had just filled out the request form, I hadn't actually discussed it with anyone - I didn't think I would get tickets). Apparently if he wasn't available I could not change the name of my guest. so I would have to go alone.
I called him and he is available! So Happy Birthday Greg! We are going to see Samuel L Jackson, Emeril Lagasse, and Iggy Pop!

We expect behind-the-scenes info next week. What does Alan Coulter do? What does Paul Shaefer do? When not on camera, I mean. It should be fun.
That is so cool! I'd always heard that it is really hard to get tickets for that show. Soak it up!
Um....what do you mean that you're not taking me? I NEED to see Samuel L Jackson (we'd have so much in common...we're both black, loud, and foul-mouthed). Just sayin'.
