Grand Canyon

Brett, Bryan and I went to the Grand Canyon today. We had a blast! It wasn't very windy, and for most of the day didn't even have our jackets on (although there were times we needed them). It was sunny and calm, and I have never been on I-17 with less traffic!

All day we seemed to be hopping from one viewpoint to the next with a group of Swedish Harley Davidson enthusiasts. About thirty of them had rented bikes and were roadtripping across the US and this was their stop today. Pretty cool.

Below is my album of Photos from the day. At one point Bryan decided he wanted a picture from an outcropping of rocks so there are some fun pictures of him getting there, and then once there he decided to sun bathe for a couple minutes - too funny!

Oh, and Mom and Dad, you should be very proud, I didn't have any real "adventures."

That's nice that you didn't have any real "adventures". Of course, your dad approaches "adventures" with much more sanguinity than I so it's helpful to have him along when encountering such adventures. Hmm...maybe, he is the CAUSE of such "adventures"...
It looks like you had a good day. I recognize that place!

You went to the Grand Canyon and you don't think that was an adventure? You are really blase about life, aren't you?
Luckily Brian's sunbathing didn't turn into an "adventure." Isn't it amazing how the canyon looks just like its pictures, and vice versa?
