Read ya loud and clear.

Today was another day of class. woo woo. we have moved on to Irish history so that is cool. since we go to Ireland on wednesday.
so far I want to go to Galway next weekend for the beautiful western coastline, and maybe to Newgrange (sp?) to see a neolithic temple. and in Scotland I just have to find a way to get to Loch Ness, who would I be if I didn't?!

I went to Camden Town, Chinatown and SoHo with my friends today. Camden town has really cheap markets for scarves and t-shirts, and stuff, but I didn't find anything to buy and it is kind of a rundown part of town. I Cninatown we got some delicious chinese food, but I couldn't find any place selling miniature tea sets so my dream of a tea seat from every chinatown I have been to is dashed. did see plenty of asian porn though. eek! SoHo was nothing special but I guess it is, or used to be, the red light district of London.

hmmm, I seem to have crossed onto the wrong side of the railroad tracks today. but I came away scotfree. not stabbed, or accosted, or even dirty. I do have a cough, but that has been around for a week.

I also took a couple good pictures that I think you will like. stuff I have come across in or around the Tube.

randomness 1)I am trying to figure out what scorching is to these people, because it has not been out of the low sixties the entire time I have been here. and I am told in Scotland we have to ask them to turn the heat back on and they are like: but it is the end of June!

PS what is the high in lazy az right now? even though I am cold now, I do not miss the heat at all. I am most sad that I won't get to wear my cool england jacket when I get home. although, I won't get to wear my cool england jacket in Ireland either :)

randomness too)you think we have Surgeon General warnings! not even!
these warnings take up half the box, and the box is pretty tiny.

randomness III)I was on the tube today and did I horrible thing. I read over a man's shoulder at the book he was reading and this is what I saw:
"Where is the Empress?"
"Why, she is where we left her, Sir," said George Cyril wellbeloved, surprised, and hung out.

I dont know how someone can even say anything in that manner. so many emotions at once. (ps it is from a book called Pigs Have Wings. I think)

ok, that was just randomness from me. not a very exciting day. but tomorrow will be fun.

oh, and all my roommates went to Paris this weekend so I have the room to myself for three days!!! woo woo

that is undoubtedly the best warning on a pack of cigarettes I've ever seen. oh no wait, once in CA I saw a pack that was all black with a skull and crossbones an it-the brand name--DEATH. Your find is second best though! Yes, Loch Ness, of course you must see that, otherwise it would be a wasted trip! I love looking at the pics you post. P.S. the high for Cottonwood today is 101 degrees. Ahh the cool northland :>

Okay, so why, oh why aren't you going to Paris too? I thought you wanted to see a friend over there? However, we do see the joy in having a room to yourself!

Random is good. Sorry about the cough.

I was going to ask why you couldn't wear your jacket in Ireland, but then figured that it has "England" written on it some way, not that you just bought it there, right? And you don't want to anger anyone?

I am not going to Paris because I went to places like Bath, Stonehenge, Cadbury, Hampton Court, Leeds...etc.

plus I really thought it sounded stilted to say I went to the UK and Paris. or I saw all the UK and Venice. or all the UK and Belgium. I decided I didnt want to have to pick one place in continental Europe to go see for just a couple days. I might as well save it all and have the excuse to visit Europe again.

and yes, for fear of my life, I do not want to bring up anything English while I am in Ireland. they take great pride in hating England, and I want to blend in.
