GREEN Stuff!

These are all taken either at the farmer's market on Pimlico Road

or at Kensington Gardens.

the park was full of little hideways and niches of greenery. there are actually places to sit under the trees and bushes, as opposed to Arizona where all the plants have so many defensive mechanisms they are no fun for playing around.

this was a willow type tree that hung over the road and had a bench under it. Definitely a place I would go with say... my boyfriend. :)
instead my friend Chelsey and I sat under it, and actually, soon after we got under it, it really started to rain and about 8 other park goers joined us under the tree for safe haven. it was one of those great moments that will never happen again but was really cool.

one of the things inside Kensington Gardens, is Kensington Palace - Diana's home - and dowdier than buckingham. it really just looks like a big house. however, it did have some hidden gardens (hence the whole kensington gardens name.

This is the best way ever to be included in a trip from which you were left home! Usually, the traveler comes home with vivid memories of the last things done, and of some of the spectacular things done or seen. But not the mundane every day stuff. Like strongbow. This way, we all get to look at photos as much as we want without having to pass them around or look over someones shoulder. We get the comments you felt like making at the time, not weeks later. Imagine a rainstorm from which it is safe to shelter under a tree! What, no lightning? That experience is one which I think you will (or would have) forgotten by July, I mean it isn't the only rain you are going to soak up.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, it is 100, dry, hot, no humidity, sunny, drought conditions persist, and it is HOT.

Hey, these are my favorite pictures of your trip I've seen so far! Way cool. The last picture is my favorite. Would have been nice to have been there with you, though. :)
